Sorry I did NOT send out last week's weekly email.  If you'd like, you can read it at:

Service Project - Pack 122

Field of Flags
Westminster Presbyterian Church
94 Tindall Rd, Middletown, NJ

The patriotic display is part of the church community's tribute to all those members of the military who lost their lives in service during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Each flag represents a casualty, as well as the family members and friends who have been touched by that life sacrificed. They also represent our respect for those who have served and are serving in the military.

The Field of Flags stands in silent tribute for one month.

Yours In Scouting,

Will Davis

Change of Rank Requirements

We have become aware that there is a requirement in the most recent version of the scout handbook that all scouts must meet the rank advancement requirements as listed in the most recent version of the scout manual.

The most current rank requirements can be found at the Monmouth Council website.   The requirements can also be found by going directly to Scouting.org.

The requirements are in a printable format that you can print and put in your book. You do not need to purchase a new book. You will need to review with your scoutmaster what you have already completed with the old requirements.

Rich Klawunn
Committee Chair
Troop 122, Big Bears
