Joe Davis' Eagle Project

Hello everyone,
I will be doing my Eagle project this weekend, Oct 17-18 each day from 9am-2pm.  I am looking for scouts and other volunteers to help.

For my project, I am working with the VFW to restore three veterans monuments in Middletown:

• World War 1 memorial on Church Street
• Korean War memorial on Wilson Ave (map)
  
• Vietnam war memorial on Palmer court.

The project will consist of

• painting and scraping parts of the monuments
• trimming bushes
• weeding
• putting down mulch
• installing 30 segments of fencing

so I need as much help as I can get.

If you can, please bring:

• post hole diggers
• spades
• work gloves

We will be meeting each day from 9-2 at the Korean War Memorial on Wilson Ave. (map) , adjacent to the Henry Hudson trail and the "Middletown Helps Its Own (Alex's Eagle project). There will be some parking there.
