Patrick Twomey's Eagle Project

Everyone,
I will be starting part of my Eagle Project on Sat, 18 Mar - weather permitting.

We will be sanding and refinishing 4 benches at the  at
NJ Blind Citizens Association
18 Burlington Ave
Leonardo (map)
10 AM till 4 PM
lunch will be provided.  I need 4 older scouts and 2 leaders.

Scouts should bring work gloves and goggles.  If any one has a palm sander or saw horses that would be helpful as well.

If you can attend please email me at pat2melm@verizon.net .

Potential dates for the landscaping portion of the project are April 1st, 8th, 9th, and 15th dependent on the weather. I will need 6 to 8 scouts and 2 leaders for the second  portion.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Y.I.S.

Philmont

Twin Lights Leaders:
The time in now, the time is here for one of the greatest High Adventure programs offered to scouts,  a PHILMONT EXPERIENCE,  join the Council Contingent for the summer of 2018,  space is limited and the first 100 lucky scouts will have an adventure of their lifetime.

Look this over, pass along the information!  The Troop does not have to attend as a Troop,  all scouts should be invited to attend.

Thanks for passing this along and TALK IT UP!!

Na Tsi Hi Lodge, OA - Come help us staff Conclave 2017 at Forestburg!

In just three months Na Tsi Hi will be hosting a historic event. The 2017 Conclave will be at our very own Forestburg Scout Reservation from June 9th-11th. Conclave is an event where all the lodges from all over the section come to gather at one camp for a weekend.

It just so happens that this will be the first ever Section NE 5 Conclave due to the merge between Sections NE 5A and NE 5B. 2017 also marks the 100th anniversary of Monmouth Council BSA. We encourage all arrowmen to attend this once in a lifetime event. Various activities will be open, including archery, rock climbing, and mountain biking. There will also be volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and gaga ball. Training cells will be offered by section representatives as well.

There are still plenty of slots available for staff positions. If you wish to attend 2017 Conclave as a staff member/delegate please sign up on our webpage http://www.natsihi.org/conclave2017/ or email us conclave2017@natsihi.org with any additional questions.

Please note that if you wish to attend conclave as a delegate, go to Secondary Committee Assignment and select the “None – Delegate Only” option from the dropdown menu.

Yours in Brotherhood,
Zach Bolger
Conclave Chairman
