Important Troop Items

Dear Scouts and Parents,

Our Thursday April 17 troop meeting will be held at the VFW on Route 36 because of Spring Break and the school being closed. I realize that this is Holy Thursday and some Scouts may have religious functions to attend.

The merit badge selections for summer camp are due at this meeting. If a Scout can't make the meeting, please let them drop off the paperwork at my house no later than Thursday night. There will be a box on my front porch. It is VERY IMPORTANT that I receive all the Scouts' merit badge selections by Thursday so I can review them and make any suggestions necessary. This information has to be sent to the camp on a time schedule. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

The other important item is the Merchant Marine Campout on April 25-27. We will be driving out to Long Island, NY and will encounter $35 per car in tolls. With this in mind, each Scout will be asked to bring $10 in an envelope with their name on it to the April 24 troop meeting. If not, they can bring it on that Friday. Please try to have it at Thursday's meeting. It makes it much easier to keep track of the money.

Thank you again for following these directions. If you have any questions, please call:
