Scouting Year 2015 Camping
We have posted the dates and permission slips for camping in the upcoming year. Further details on the trips will follow. A few of the trips are listed as TBD or tentative and may be subject to date change.
Note: All the permission slips are to be handed in at troop meetings on the dates indicated - no late turn in dates are provided.
Allaire Campout - Fire Starting Competition
As we already know, all Big Bears love knives. If you want another, the Scout that can start a fire with the pump drill at the Allaire campout on 26-28 Sep in the fastest time will win a scout knife.
Start work early on your pump drill for the Sep Allaire campout - only 5 weeks left.
Summer Camp Lost and Found
There were numerous items left behind at the campsite, Alex had made an announcement saying that he would leave them in the trailer at the school since no one claimed anything. There were
- three water bottles
- first aid kit
Other items were reported as missing.
We will bring the items to the Summer Court of Honor on 21 Aug and you can claim them at that time. If you have any items that are not yours but came back with you from summer camp, bring them to the Court of Honor.
