Wreath Sale Blitz - Part 2

Message from our Scoutmaster

Hi All

Unfortunately due to the poor weather we had on our first day of blitzing and unusually slow sales we will need to sell wreathes again next weekend.

While it will not be mandatory for the Scouts to sign up it will most certainly be appreciated if you could have your Scouts sign up for a 2 hour shift. This Troop essentially belongs to the Scouts and sometimes when things don't work out as planned you have to step up and put a little extra effort into it to make it right.

Without this fundraiser we will not be able to fund the trips and activities that we have scheduled for this upcoming year. Not to mention the fact that the wreaths are perishable and will have to be thrown away if we can not sell them in a timely manner.

Just a reminder that the money earned by the wreath fundraiser goes back to the Scouts 100% in the form of paying for camp outs, training, awards, recognition and our Scouting program. It is because of our successful fundraising that we have a new trailer and a storage container for our scout equipment.

Mrs. Butler will be following up on this email with a list of blitz locations and available time slots. Also I would like to ask for parents to remain with their Scouts during their time slots to make sure we have proper adult supervision.
