Welcome New Scouts

Welcome New Scouts and Parents!

Webelos and new Scouts that will be joining us will be taking Scouting to a whole new level.

You are finally ready to start participating in adventures that will reward and challenge you, where you will have the responsibility and freedom not available in Cub Scouts. Boy Scouts is run by you, the Scout - not the adults - using a method known as the Patrol Method. Don't worry parents, there are still trained adults around to help prevent and deal with any issues that may arise.

I have assembled some forms and paper work that you will find useful as you transition from

Webelos to Boy Scouts.

  • Troop 122’s guide to summer camp 2015
  • Smoke signal-3
  • Hand out for New Scouts
  • Packing list for summer camp
  • Packing list for weekend camping
  • Parents and New Leaders Guide to a Boy-Led Troop

There are also some forms here that you will need to hand in once your Scout crosses over.

  • A Boy Scout Registration form
  • BSA Medical form
  • Troop Resource Survey
  • Driver vehicle info

Thank you.

Yours In Scouting
